The organic slap of seaweed against the base of the basalt organ-like pillars. Swelling, falling. Darkness falls quicker here than outside, not long till the melodious fugue would cover him up. Suddenly, an engine's thrum brings hope. Then, seeing the name on the prow, the waves' embrace seems welcome.
