Mise en scène: Dafne, delighted at first scan,
Sees the error after to print it's gone.
George, helplessly in love yet not in candour,
Calms her with soft words; his passionate ones unsaid.
The comma, punctuating where it ought not,
Has ruined her otherwise perfect prose and
Dafne, frazzled, in a tizz, drinks peach water;
Drowning her despair with a touch of Summer.
George, useless George, clears away her glass.
