We’d sailed for years in outer Space
To promulgate the Human Race
Then landed on the planet Drug
Whence encountered the Cymraeg Slug

This Welsh-speaking abomination
Was at odds with God’s Creation

This Walleic gastropodoid grow?

A crewman by the name of Jones
Identified the nemes and phones
Establishing by swapping odes
That slugs ruled over the nematodes

With this puke we could not abide
So, at a party where they reside,
We got them drunk on distilled malt
Then killed these foreigners with salt

They shrivelled-up and screamed to shrivel
We burnt their books of Welshy drivel
And so created a sluggish dearth
