Why you feel you can't sit still.
It feels like you can't explain it.
It may feel like an itch inside your body.
It may feel like you always need to move.
It may feel like butterfly's are wriggling inside your tummy.
Can you tell your friends how it feels?
No!
Can you put it into words?
No!
Can you understand the 'feeling'?
No!
This is because you have something called ADHD.
You may of heard people talking about it before and not know what it means. Well, I'm going to tell you...
The A in ADHD means Attention
The D stands for Deficit. WOW! What does that mean? It just means there is not enough off something.
The H stands for Hyperactivity. Now, thats a big word too. That means too much energy.
And the last D stands for Disorder.
A disorder means there's something different about you.
Altogether it means you don't have as much attention as your friends at school and you have more energy as well.
This may cause you to find it hard to sleep and focus on homework.
You might not be able to sit on a chair for a long time without moving your legs or arms.
You may have to take medicine to make it easier to focus.
ADHD is not a bad thing. Its nothing to be scared of. Its just the way your head works differently.
But this book may of helped you understand why you feel you can't sit still.

It is nicotene withdrawl
It is nicotene withdrawl. Sounds exactly like waiting at the state hospital for a doctor. Craving feels like forever. Ants in your pants.
At least I know now there's nothing wrong with me!
