I envy you women.
I always have.
That understanding.
That thing you have.
I've never been one for boisterous things.
That thumping-chested manhood thing.
I like your knowing looks.
That thing you share that we can't have.
And added to that, your prettiness,
your sex, which I'm sure you won't deny.
In short, I wish I was one of you.

I know what you are saying, PT. but then, we don't get to belch and fart in public, and when we are desperate whilst stuck in traffic, it's virtually impossible to make use of a plastic drinks bottle. So there's something to be said on both sides.

Loved your poem, though. And if you aren't one of those boisterous chest thumping blokes, you'll do for me. Welcome to the other side!

Ha ha ha! Just seen this thing. Forgotten I'd written it (must have drunk more than I thought in Bristol last night). You haven't met some of the women I have, obviously. Thanks for the warm welcome. :-D
