Led a merry dance
you and me

Tripping down
the garden path
whirled along
by the brains that be
who hone sharp minds
on Telegraph crosswords
and Sudoku

And now, it seems,
the elite were wrong
though, clearly,
some knew all along
so now the fight is on
for blame or glory

But all agree
who must pay

Not they.

No.

That would never do

It appears to fall
to me and you

Thanks Blighters. It's hard not to run away with a topic like this..."don't get me started...". Things are going to be tough and I don't like the relish that the task is being taken on with. I worry about the increasing polarisation of people. "Wealth creators" has a hollow sound now. Maybe they could tip up some tax now to support those whose extracted value really created the wealth. Best leave it to the poem. PT
