A universe in a box?

Kerouac is telling me of the Universal Mind. I like the idea, but not sure my practical mind can accept it.

How about the universe in a mind? Each human skull has space enough to contain the universe.

I have to rush these thoughts out before I enter the building and my doors are kicked down.

Someone on this train has breath like a bag of rotting fish.

Is it me?
