Less is More

“Less is more,” said the hippo.
“Sometimes less is less,” said the snake.
“And sometimes more is more,” said the llama.
“But less of one thing normally means more of something else,” said the hippo.
“Not always,” said the snake.
“And I don’t think that’s what the phrase means,” said the llama.
“Sometimes it does,” said the hippo.
“When?,” said the snake.
“Yes, when?,” said the llama.
“Less cake means more healthiness,” said the hippo.
“Lame,” said the snake.
“And obvious,” said the llama.
The hippo had a think. “Less work means more philosophical discourse,” said he.
“Less obvious,” said the snake.
“But still doesn’t prove your point,” said the llama.
“What point?,” said the hippo.
The snake looked at the llama.
The llama shrugged.
“Forgot,” said the snake.
“Me too,” said the llama.
And that was that.
