COFFEE TIME

Bach playing on the stereo,
Hidden by the tick tock clock,
Green, red and blue,
The hue of artifice,
Denim over a chair,
Opposite the abyss,
Of the television off,
Videos and DVDs,
CD and literature,
Portray my likings,
To myself,
The sub-woofer rumbles,
I think about a coffee,
My thoughts stray,
Without a narrative,
Not my own,
I am alone,
But no more so,
Than when with company.
