Any Advice?
Listen, I often to many greats.
Forget them oft all with regrets.
On many subsequent repetitions
to grasp it as no intended intention
but to touch the subject as unknown
with vanishing memory springing frustration
the self-conceit robs me of further interest
unwise, naive I continue to remain on the subject.
Theory of “listen, read write and contemplate”
as childish this aged man's vanities reject straight.
as an half a century old, tool too old a practice
Multimedia presentations pale them as a novice.
Excuse I, myself as being old as a citizen senior
and Sanskrit verses are too difficult to decipher.
Hence whatever I read and listen pass over my head
after well securing their seats in me they instantly fade
The wisdom gained earlier for earning bread and butter
now looks dwarf as research has made the subjects taller.
On superannuation, after many a consultation
frustrated with stale outputs of press and television
and with incapability to understand the modern literature
on the advice of many my interest got focused to scripture
to learn for peace bliss and after death liberation
staying healthy in body and mind under the sun
but when I look at Hindu philosophy in their epics
and look at other religions with their gospels and logic
I turn mad and now run to Lord for strength and solution
as to how will be my endeavors before my final destination
is it to gossip, to grapevine, to philanthropically work
tired of those in life the inner urge and background I lack.
Hence before Lord listens to, decide and reacts to bless
Hey readers, advise me on the assimilating process
so that I dive to a depth of at least in Hindu philosophy
assimilate them for my peace and bliss Pray help me.
