Human intelligence and endeavor

worsen the life today failing beyond measure.

Bigger is house shorter is family,

faster is communication lesser is harmony.

Wider is net work, narrower is vision

bulker is knowledge slender is wisdom..

richer is outer smartness poorer is inner cleanliness

more are degrees but less are common senses

faster is movement slower is human sentiment.

wider are Freeways , but narrower are viewpoints

Lesser is sleep but more comfortable are beds,

worse are health but more are medical aids.

More are judges and lawyers and legal instruments

but less judicious and more delayed are judgments

We've added years to life but not added life to years,

These are the days of two incomes but more divorce

We've been all the way to the moon and back,

but to meet the neighbor, next door the will we lack.

Countless will be such list showing our failures over those of our ancestors

but we laugh at them as they ate raw, lived in open and had no cloth to cover.
