Bou! Punish me.
Bou! All your kith and kin
feel grievously guilty within
not being able to be with you
when the last sigh you drew
to bid you a befitting adieu
with their gratitude to you, due.
May it be due to the pandemic spell
or reasons having its own woeful tale.
I, your eldest son will incessantly cry
as being hopelessly helpless in his try
he managed to listen to a voice from you
your concern to save him from Corona flue
“ Gandhi your wellbeing, you take care
Do not worry, for me, Laxminursinghm is there”
Bou! Pray I your pardon for your every loved one
but punish me such that repeats never thus any son.
(My mother departed at the age of 92. She breathed her last while suffering from CORONA in our village when there was locked down restriction. None of her sons could be present Only her eldest daughter wa a distant witness. I am feeling aggrieved failing in my duty as eldest son whatever the reason may be.Bou as I call my mother)
