Comparison
forces into mundane man’s horizon,
gets the man frustrated
at the show off, flaunted
by neighbors and peers
with ostentatious cheers.
Envious becomes a man
even at a person of his clan
at his prosperity of material or power,
with the other, always does a man compare.
A man is not aware other’s cup of woes
but gets swayed away envying other’s outward shows.
Everyone is needy and everyone is prosperous
only the mental faculty differentiates us.
But man is man, in him God like divinity does not exist,
in him greed, envy, anger and other devils are not missed.
Comparison causes misery and brings negative thoughts,
robs man of happiness harmonious living, and in jealousy man rots.
