Here is a father promoter of modern computer,
Lived unsung, died unseen because of long illness from cancer.
The whole world expressed shock at Steve’s demise,
But no note was taken of Dennis’s death, is it not a matter of surprise?
Dennis perhaps wanted to remain unseen, unknown and unlamented,
But let us all from child to old, Illiterate to experts make sure at least his tombstone is laid.
If Steve Jobs is the inventor Dennis Ritchie is the creator,
Steve was the king of visible part, Dennis was the monarch of the invisible part of the computer.
In a season when His creation is at its best as expressed by nature,
God was cruel to mankind and snatched away both together.
Heaven perhaps needed both their services to update His master computer.
We on the earth pray for their departed souls to have peace and rest,
Perhaps as on earth they do not need rest and for His computer they want to put in their combined best.
