In a divine chain

 

A jubilee golden

on a wedding celebration

is a couple’s  proud display

of harmonious conjugal stay

braving conjugal tussles in life

torn by tribulation and strife

one surrenders to the other

dampening the fight from being bitter

bringing serenity to the family floor

impelled by the love at heart’s core.

call we, it as an effect of love true

or give it as mutual trust’s hue

flourished after their mortal union

with parental and social sanction

Short lives their hatred and anger

arising out of mundane human nature

that teaches a lesson to society modern

where to virtues of life blind eye they turn.

Thus it is today’s society’s requirement

such celebration with pomp and merriment.

when we foresee the Jubilee platinum

it perplexes the present youth’s wisdom.

 

Dear Gopal Geetanjali madam

Hey, a couple awesome!

well done and welcome

From Jubilee Golden to platinum

Born one in the mouth with a silver spoon

the other with a divine boon

born to a priestly grandfather

spiritual path in old age to nurture.

 

A G J celebration

as a fiftieth wedding reception

repeating the fifty-year-occasion

now with the feel of parental grievous absence

but with the offspring’s joyous presence

but even five decades back

at times parents failed to track

when the love they disapprove

and away the love birds move.

But here is the parental choice

Both parents agreed in one voice.

Both horoscopes matched in perfection

accepted all the match in elation.

Two souls, Heavenly blest

at Lord’s behest

Him, together they met.

From Him an order they get

to go to the earth's crust

as in them, the Lord had trust

“Their tainted soul, they can free

as a couple in conjugal harmony.”

Hence the marriage of Gita and Gopal

is celestially fixed see we their pal.

In some others’ view

their marriage has a spiritual hue.

Thus

it runs

After their assigned role-play

two souls went heavenly way

on the merit of deeds virtuous

though still were not infinitely pious

Needed they, further purification

for the tainted souls’ salvation

Hence the Lord sent them together

to earth crust for deed nobler

in harmony as a couple, benign

for performing acts divine

Term we, it as their marriage in Heaven

before on the earth, they saw the sun

Geetanjali and Gopal in unison

to fulfill shortfalls for liberation

 

On this earth floor

in nineteen seventy-four

on seventh May

they started their conjugal play

with joyous parental blessings

to them, many memories it brings

As the bridal party with lunch sumptuous

with non-vegetarian dishes then famous

and at the groom’s reception

with Mahaprasad  luncheon

reminisce friends with memories, nostalgic

also dwell they the bride’s spinsterhood magic.

reminisce you those days fleeted so quickly

Time is a robber It loots everything

leaving behind history for us to cling.

Now you celebrate your jubilee golden

amidst classmates with frolic and fun

isolating your daughter and son

challenging them to repeat the function

as they are in the USA and Australia

along with their alien culture and aura

But we swear on our participation

Hey, Shibani and Ananant make the preparation.

we fancy attending your parents' DJ function

To celebrate it, book now   a space station

 

you are a couple, unique

that your conjugal decisions speak

Please allow me to dwell on a few

your everything has its own hue

Host such occasions

daughters and sons

alleviating their parents’ burden

but in a hypocritical way

every step being intervened by parents say

from invitees’ list to menu fixation

every tit bits of the entire function

to ensure it to excel so that peers bow

fulfill it the offspring this ostentatious show

acting as if nothing they know

leaving it to their children to throw.

but you both are different couple

your inside and out carry proof ample

a hot summer day

it must have given a torturous treat

to your first meet

that was the parental choice

where you had no voice

now you have changed the date

to a cool and tranquil climate

captivating many love-seeking poets

that delineates your innate desire.

Hence you give enough indication

shifting the date of the celebration

reminiscing the date of your marriage golden

to a cooler day in autumn

to enjoy it at your heart’s bottom

cursing the hot humid day of May

in whispers many things your friends say.

 

Blessed with Anant, a son brilliant

with achievements magnificent

Anant is making the nation proud

His laurels in the USA and China speak it loud

Daughter Shibani now an Australian citizen

by her services and many hearts, she has won

Pray your family tree

your fragranced aura to spread free.

 

Madam Geeta! Beg I your pardon

on this day of your frolic and fun

on my childhood pal to dwell upon

to you on our pal Gopal our impression

and pay you my gratitude

over fifty years in me stayed accrued

standing by his side by day and night

hand in gloves life’s tribulations to fight.

Gopal was a boy, handsome

devoid of any youthful venom

Under Heavenly aegis

in a family of priestly service

Gopal came to this earth's crust

where  his granddad was a priest, august

a master in rituals Vedic

and for any worship him people pick.

thus Gopal was born and brought up

in a spiritual setup

hence on his retirement

exploded his spiritual potent

immersed he, in studies, spiritual

All Hindu philosophies are his subjects special.

By providence

Geetanjali! By your presence

has, made an aura of piety

the spiritual purists in steadfastness to carry.

 

A genius fails

that history wails

for a mole, making a mountain

that situation does not entertain

thus is Gopal Mishra’s brain

without caring for loss or gain

dives deep with stamina awesome

for the absolute wisdom

be it a time-limited examination

or wandering on a net for a particular mission

some tell it as mad some tell it as fickle

but I tell it brilliant with proofs, ample.

prove he can

as he is born as man

cosmos and creation sustain

there is winter summer and rain.

Lithe and handsome

simple awesome

complexioned copper

the gene of his grandfather

ever agile

his words never fragile

fickle but unique

mild and meek

with the tone, exotic

in a moment his thoughts flick

memory sharp

any song instantly to trap

fearless in expression

heart is open

even minded to enemy and friend

words are straight with no bend

unflinching faith in the lord

does everything on own accord

his songs are sweet

rendering captivating treat

at music lessons, he is at the top rung

with melodious tongue

Astrology is his hobby

Him, for making horoscopes people lobby

Ornament none can

this God-gifted man.

that wanders around

pursuit bound

for wisdom infinite

maybe aiming at the Almighty

 

As Gopal was a prize catch

for her sister an exceptional match

to show off and to take the credit

Geetanjali’s brother insisted on a meet

to take credit from the loving sister

for arranging such an excellent groom for her

and to show off Gopal’s companion

that his sister excels Gopal, in comparison

Color mixture of turmeric and wheat

any celestial fairy she would beat

Her- build is like a whole grain of rice

as if she was built under divine advice

Her virtues non can excel

that is what his brother wanted to tell

enjoy some lucky friends the treat

but to assist Geeta has no sister, sweet.

Hey Geetanjali Madam!

accept from our hearts’ bottom

gratitude

accrued

over fifty years

lending your shoulders

to Gopal

our pal

for such a successful run

braving the trials tribulation

that poses world-mundane

relationships those strain

Gopal! You lament

with abject resentment

at missing by a whisker

opportunities in your career

and feel irate

accuse your fate.

man proposes

but god disposes

not a say common

but it is the Lord's decision

what is the best for creation

He does it with precision

over the days you must scan

Destiny defines its course as per the man

maybe as deeds of previous life

decides its course with its pleasure and strife.

Asses I, your careers till this age

you are better off despite old age rampage

having an atmosphere, and zeal in pursuit. spiritual

in harmony with Gitanjali a life conjugal.

Recollect you must

as in god, you have trust

when you had no money to pay

to your son’s fee on its last day

a man appeared on sudden

to pay back the loan you have forgotten.

when you were critically ill

he sent a man to give  you zeal

and brought you back to mainstream

for you and Gita he had a scheme

maybe to pursue spiritual practices
