On the sick bed

to the Lord while I pled

to recover from agonizing pain,

to mitigate the mental strain

and to get rid of turmoil and torture

no other thoughts then I could nurture..

While on the way to recovery

for the definition of the health, I could worry

WHO has its definition

physical, mental and social well- being of a person.

To this add I another dimension

it is my much thought over opinion

Intrinsic in man is the divine health

that sustains a person from the collapse and the death

by spurring courage when spirits decay

from within the divine vitality come to sway

positive thoughts overpower the negativity

light from the Lord in killing diseases, the patients see.

Despite physical pain and mental discomfort

with inner divine health one can divert

one’s attention to one’s love for a thing or to the Lord

with increasing zeal for life one can count days to be cured.

This Divinity in health has to be nourished from the birth

a faith within and in the lord pervading everywhere on the earth.

when everything looks intolerable poisonous even the prayer to the Lord.

need we the divine health to sustain us and give us the confidence to be cured..
