Divine mother "Kali"

The picture of the divine mother looks funny and fearsome.
This is the imaginary figure of Hindu goddess kali as conceived by a mortal man’s wisdom.
To preserve and run His cosmos, Almighty had divided His power into three sections in His mission,
They are creation, nourishment and dissolution.
Without any of the three His creation will cease to exist,
Lord Shiva is the God of deluge and Goddess kali is his power and strength to assist.
Time is merciless as it waits for none,
Change is inevitable and from moment to moment it has to be borne.
The Goddess Kali symbolizes the power and energy to handle the time and the change to sustain the creation,
Hence without her, dead is the Lord in charge of dissolution.
The figure represents energy dancing over the lord,
Signifying dissolution and change after change by string of heads and in hand carrying a special sword.
In her figure sinner sees his end,
But pious sees his strength and inspiration as to how adversities of life he can attend.
The Hindus in India propitiate mother Kali regularly on altars dedicated for her,
But on the day of Dipawali she is worshiped on a specially decorated surrounding with an artist’s sculpture.
Within boundaries of limit of size and shape preached and practiced since age long,
The artist carves out the idol of mother with his skill, care and concentration all along.
The set up of the surroundings and decoration call for special effort and labor,
But the whole set up vanishes after the day of worship when the deity is immersed in holy water.
Surrendering the evil attachment becomes a regular lesson to the artist and organizer.
Epics in volumes are written on the procedures of propitiation, power and effulgence of the mother.
