A dream to cherish
“73 yrs with Mom”
as luck comes to some
blest with boons the best
what many intently quest
but left, it is only to lord
to whom, it, He will accord
the man’s greatest asset
that Lord Himself does covet.
Maybe, by deeds pious
done, in the life previous
on us, the boons is blest
to get, treasure the best.
Spitting at the span as very long
curse us, many wishes, wrong.
as the cruel time flees fast
even eons, eras do not last.
Now I only grievously sigh
as within twinkle of an eye
vanished she as a dream
deserting me to scream
for my life, the rest
losing the asset the best.
