With size microscopic,

character metamorphic,

originated from lofty mountains,

dragged down by slim fountains

making the sand bed at sea shore

and making plain land of scenic grandeur

the sand is the beginning and the end of all,

to poetic eyes it is the smallest among small.

Emerges man from dust and ultimately merges with dust

leading a life in between with peace, purity, anger and lust.

Insignificant it is and easily can be trodden over

as a mark of humility on fore head this man smears.

Heavenly is the foot dusts of men of piety

and is treasured in the heart of the Almighty.

Dusts covering a mirror impends one’s true reflection,

a simile oft used to indicate man’s condition covered by illusion.

Dusts get accumulated on the original scripture emanated from the holy lips

by numerous interpretation, inferences by mortal men have put them under eclipse.

Dust aids the sound to travel and come within an audible spectrum

it also aids the water vapor to turn into drop lets to rain with sweet sound of drum.
