From among all the human virtues

the best virtue if one has to choose

to pray the Almighty for a boon to grant

in case more than one boon to one man He  can’t,

mused I as to what should be my choice.

They may be one from truth, mercy and nonviolence,

or to take away my desires, hatred or attachment

or to ensure my greed, anger or lust to remain absent.

Ultimately the greatest virtue I found the absence of ego and vanity.

Hence I shall seek the egolessness as His crown for me with humility.

(Egolessness is not found in a dictionary neither I could find a substitute and suitable word for it. I left it to the readers to accept or to react to the word “ Egolessness”)
