EXCUSE ME

I am an engineer by education
I was a technocrat by profession
I served for forty years period
Amidst noisy sounds of machines myriad,
Heat, sound and dust
Have smeared my poetic feeling with rust
Eyes had been seeing the lifeless structure.
Nose had smelled the foul smell of sulphur
Mind was blocked with profit and loss account
Beyond factory, emotion and intellect did not count.
I had no time to stand and stare
To appreciate the color of a flower and beauty of nature
You friends in PFI have given me a chance
to enjoy the beauty of life and with the nature’s dance.
From lifeless production to your lively deliberation
It is a long path and I have to have another incarnation
Hence I beg pardon for not regularly answering you
