For transfer and storage
of information and knowledge
on tree, sand and stone
man has made many an invention.
From palm leave and scribner
ink bottle, pen out of birds’ feather,
printing press, composer and proof reader
to pen, paper and palm top computer
from tones of printed books in library
to weightless terabytes of memory,
from printed book to electronic screen
to gain wisdom, long the journey has been.
Time is not far off when papers will disappear.
Printed books, to our great grand children, a surprise, it will appear.
Our search for wisdom will complete never ever.
From palm leave, paper to screen with time all will disappear.
All one day will look funny and antique,
wisdom will float in space only to trap them man has to invent the technique.
