Grateful you are,
tell you “Thank you sir”
Expressing one’s gratitude in spoken form,
a pleasant etiquette and a common norm,
noted by he, you and society around
but in heart of heart the feeling may not be found.
But to bear in memory, enact and reciprocate
speaks high of you but the occasion possibly you cannot create.
It becomes commercial with feeling of “Give and take”
devoid of divinity, to one’s conscience it does ache.
But to be grateful from within, with open heart
Heavenly it is, with no show off, or no ostentatious dirt
Grateful to none but only to the Almighty we are
individuals are His actors, lucky to seize the opportunity and become the star.
The God does never bother fore “Thank you” nor for reciprocation,
grateful to Him infinitely, keep it in heart to serve and love His creation.
