Gratitude of a Life

Life is full with ups and downs,
at times straight and at times rounds,
at times with roses, at times with thorns,
at times treacherous curves and at times, blind turns,
you are not sure which way, you will take
at times it may enable life flourish and at times life it may break.

Sharp and stiff edges along the dangerous terrains
in the journey of life, must have come again and again.
Somebody by your side must have held you tight
You have not fallen but walked across them successfully without any plight

By ups and downs with treacherous pit holes on the path
with broken roads and thorny gravels’ wrath
your journey in life would have been halted and interrupted,
but instead, somebody has pulled your life with sweet success without getting it bitterly disrupted.

At times you might have seen the path in life is through hilly mountains without any road for you to travel
or through a snow clad, slippery unreadable ground ahead of you making you to baffle
But somebody shoveled nicely a road for you,
cutting across the snow and giving you protection too.

With such paths in the journey of life, now when you go back in your memory lanes
You feel that somebody had surely showered his boons on you to dispel these banes.
You feel to have traveled through a green tunnel and over soft grasses,
Hence express your gratitude and propitiate that somebody to you who always blesses.

His blessings and your devotion and prayers
made your journey on the path of flora and flowers with cheers.
The latent inner strength and confidence in difficulties in you did grow,
with the grace and blessing of somebody, whom you should bow.
The Almighty is that somebody, on you His blessing and grace always He did shower
hence with fragrance of zeal and zest of life, the journey could become sweet but not sour.
