Him we bow
P K Routray
Once with a mission
to see the Lord of this creation
I approached many a master
with hardly any satisfactory answer
But in the snowclad Himalaya range
I met a half clad long haired sage
whom I accepted as my master
on the lord to remove my mortal blur.
One day I gathered courage
“Show me God” I asked the sage.”
The Lord, he agreed to show me
Next morning was fixed for me to see
On appointed time when we met for the event
he asked me the form in which God should be present
I took time off to reflect and to reply
with many forms coming to my mind’s eye.
“Is it a tree, an animal, a man or a mountain
an ocean, the sun, the moon or a fountain?
No, it is none, those are His creation.”
Came thus my conclusion after a deep meditation,
He is the God who liberates us from miseries
and gives us happiness and robs our worries
That is a state of equilibrium and tranquility
I was searching such form without clarity
The God is truth and fountain of love as also we know
The God can only be realized but not to be seen, Him we bow.
(N.B Here “I” stands for a disciple who was seeking to see the Lord)

"mortal blur" is a good way
"mortal blur" is a good way to put the confusion
Do you think maybe the last line should include "to"?
to Him we bow
