His Accord

In between self-esteem and self-conceit

lies a thin separating line quite indistinct.

Man’s conscience and discriminatory power

can only aid, guide and propel man to uncover.

Jealousy is man’s demoniac trait.

As per scriptural advice, that man must abate.

Thus says all gospels in no uncertain tone

but man commits both with every deed done.

He flaunts each and every one of his feats with color

to get compliments and laurels in galore.

to get motivated and also for egoistic pleasure

but he forgets the mortal man’s inherent feature.

Behind every congratulatory message

his malice and ill wishes lay to ravage.

Hence for man’s feat and deeds done

any show off for vanity man shod abandon

surrendering it entirely in the service of Lord

as a man cannot succeed without His accord.
