India with quarter and one thousand million populations
with numerous cast, creed, colors languages, and almost all religions
goes to the poll after every five years to elect the members of its parliament.
The party or a coalition of parties with majority forms the government.
Five hundred forty three seats exist in India’s parliament,
they represent people over the country’s different segments
Elections were held this time via electronic voting machine through secret ballet
for five hundred forty three seats where more than eight thousand candidates were in fray.
Eight hundred twenty million electorates were eligible to exercise their voting power
to select these members from forty eight parties contesting and fighting bitter.
It took a month and a week to complete this election process
Then on sixteenth May the counting took place.
The ruling party UPA led by Congress was thrown out
NDA led by B J P seized the power winning the bout.
The melodrama of pre and post election with propaganda and celebration
backed by spicy analysis in electronic media is beyond any description.
The massive democratic process could be completed with perfection
proving that man longs for equal right and tries to protect his own.
