Under a mask or darkness crimes are committed,
Because of legal interpretations and provisions, crimes and criminals are shielded.
Proof is not sufficient, witnesses are purchased,
legal professionals forget ethics and somehow get biased.
“The benefit of doubt may favour the culprit,
but the innocent should not get hit.”
Look at this natural justice,
And think of the stark realities.
Natural justice generally favors the culprits,
They also get freedom from charges because of delays and doubts.
The culprits roam scot-free with crime after crime,
To relook in to our legal logic and ethical education, is it not high time?
God will not incarnate to change these systems and situations,
we in the society has to rise, react, fight and find the solutions.
Let innocents be sacrificed for the sake of society,
But no mercy and no benefit of doubt should ever go to the advantage of guilty.
Let our educational system focus on ethics,
All other curricula and lessons may get a second seat and act as its suffix.
