Man and his innate divinity
P K Routray
Happiness and peace
do not come forth nor increase
when one is well clothed or well fed,
comfortably housed or well read.
well employed or having good health,
or pleasant family or plethora of wealth
Many people may have all these in plenty
but happiness and peace elude them, as often we see
Peace and happiness depend on what lies within and without,
Every human being innately divine, from him divine qualities do sprout.
A live example to cite, out of a frustrating situation you may grow angry and red hot for a while
but next moment or so you will come back to your natural posture of cool and calm composure with a smile.
The more are the attributes like love, justice, truth, peace and Purity one gives and gets
the more vibrant will be one’s joy, happiness, bliss and other divine assets.
