A Metaphor

The mother earth is in a wretched condition

with disturbed ecology and environmental degradation

greedily looted of the wealth tearing her breast apart.

Law of life “to help the downtrodden” is kept at bay from heart.

The mother has been robbed of her beauty and urge to prosper.

Looking old in the cosmos this planet may be first to wither.

Its future looks bleak because of manmade demoniac degradation

Hence in the photo the lady is the mother earth a metaphoric comparison.

The granddaughter symbolizing the future generation cries with future uncertain

Truly the lady and the child represent the nature and he major section of the population.
