Mom and God
P K Routray
God! Have you taken my mom?
Didn’t you have a mother like we some?
Pray, send her now for some days to me.
Like Dolly, Kath and Kareena, my loving mother I want to see.
Sleep I want on her lap and on her shoulder too
Gaze at her sweet smile and feel her love having many a hue.
Drink I shall not milk, if she doesn't tell me a lion’s tale
Candy and chocolate also will be my demand, her I shall tell.
Her lullabies, you must be enjoying, how sweet it would be!
Hey God! Please send her to me for sometimes, in dream at least I see.
(In an orphanage a little girl draw a mom’s figure and slept over it)
