The Omnipresent God
P K Routray
A challenge, once a certain king had thrown open,
answering the two quarries posted by the king to the his satisfaction was the condition
for winning any half of his kingdom by the challenger as per the choice of his own,
failing to satisfy, the challenger would be lifelong in prison.
The questions were made publicly known as per king’s whim.
“Where is God? And why the king cannot see Him?”
The spiritual experts far and wide
suitable answer to satisfy the king they could not find.
At last a boy in teens challenged to answer the king,
surprises and sympathies from all in the court, this challenger did bring.
The teenager asked for a pot of milk before the court,
to churn out its butter he did assort.
The butter was churned out as per his desire
“oh king! Here are the answers to your querries pair.”
To get the clarity to the answers, on the youth the attention of everybody turned,
The boy asked the king: “Where was the butter before it was churned?”
“Of-course in the milk” the king replied,
“In which part of the milk?” The boy further reiterated,
The king answered “In all of it”.
The boy said then that in the same way God pervades everywhere. you must agree and admit.
The king then wanted to know as to why he does not see God
“Because you do not churn your mind and refine perceptions through meditation.” the boy answered with a nod.
