An option
P K Routray
For a man of sixty or so
back in life if he is asked to go
remembering the ills and wells of this life
lived in joy and jubilation, sorrows and strife
with his kith and kin, friends and foes and the known society
in the purity, piety or cobweb of complexity.
Suppose he is pushed back to an age when he is at ten
and is offered to travel back in life afresh again
with an option to travel on the same path he was made to travel
or to travel in a new path with uncertain hardship to battle
where he may miss his dear ones and find aliens threatening around
amidst the worst of the miseries and the sufferings he may be drowned
It is sure that he will prefer the option of life he has lived
To prove that the Almighty does the best on His own, this example is vivid.

sounds like my life...
except I'm not male, however I've been pushed back, time and time again.
The Good Lord was there for me. Holding salvation in his hands, talking through a medium
He knew I'd understand. The Bible, he said to me, holds the inner truths, go back to your basics,
and find the deep roots. Civilisation awaits us, in corruption's grip, pull out the nettle,
You can live without sin!
I love this stuff.. Keep on writing it :)
maisie Guess what? I'm still alive!
