Painful Memory

In life many people come and go,

some vanish from memory, with memory some flow.

At this ripe age when I gaze at my bygone memory lane

remember I some peeping into my life and disappearing there and then.

The momentary bondage of their magnetic attraction

wound me now though their whereabouts I had never known.

In the journey of life we meet many a co passenger

develop attachment and friendship and lose them from sight for ever.

But at lonely moment they peep into our memory lane

the emotional bondage, the sweet moment prick us and give us pain.

If we paint each incident and each acquaintances with paint of true emotion

though sweet and beautiful they appear but give pain as they are lost and gone.

(N.B True feelings today for many such people and incidents)
