Practice to perfection
P K Routray
To perform the best in a crucial or a final examination,
intermittent tastes are necessary to check the progress of preparation.
They aid the students to improve and to progress to achieve results better
similarly the painful occurrences in life make man equanimous and stronger.
All religious scriptures teach us to fight sigh of lust greed and anger
to win His blessings and to get peace and bliss in this life and after
Hence let us welcome the adverse happenings, us to tempt and trap
to incite our lust, greed and anger, just to taste whether them we could scrap,
also to overcome our pride and pain let us invite and face adverse incidents
to taste ourselves whether we have shunned our jealousy, pride and attachments.
With such tastes and preparatory examinations for our performances to measure
we introspect, contemplate and practice to turn the sorrows of life to pleasure.
Man should not be swayed away with painful and untoward adverse situation
let us take them in our stride with joy as God’s gifts to practice for perfection.
