Speech needs company;
silence needs solitude in self harmony.

Speech wants to conquer others;
silence helps to conquer self that matters

Respect, Speech demands,
but to it silence commands

Speech is self -expression;
silence is self-experience with self-repression.

Speech is mind bound,
silence keeps soul crowned.

Speech dissipates ego;
silence hides it not to show.

Speech asserts ego;
silence effaces it to zero.

Speech is human sign;
silence is divine

Speech receives appreciation;
silence receives adoration

Speech is a spent arrow, beyond its master’s power,
Silence is an arrow under control, safe in quiver.

Great works are inspired by speech
but written in silence for everybody’s reach.

Life is a flower; speech is its thorny petal
and silence is its fragrance gentle.
