The Sun and We

The sun does not only give us energy to physically exist,
But also gives us emotional energy at our time of gloom enabling us to persist
When we are in dark or gloomy and lose sight of light
Think of the sun under cloud, sure to come out bright.
When life appears stale and without any purpose in sight,
think the sun is on the move and radiating light.
The sun also reminds us that our own shining truth is never extinguished.
Our light shines within us at all times, no matter what else occurs around us it is never vanquished.
Though the sun gives us daily proof of its existence,
sometimes our belief in our own light requires more time to prove its presence.
Like the sun, our light is the energy that connects us to the movements of the cosmos
and the cycles of life and is present at all times, whether its glow is felt or not by us.
