Tale of a spirit
P K Routray
My dear mummy
I see you cry,
your tear runs
like a perenial river
never stops
for me
I was neither drunk
nor driving fast
I swear this as true.
I never wanted
to miss
your love and care
never wanted
to give you
so much anguish and pain
I see you
but you cannot see me.
The car came like a bullet
all on a sudden and hit my car
That bloody driver is alive
but I am a spirit
Hey daddy!
I was neither careless
nor disobedient,
You are crying for me.
No fault of mine,
Hey Dolly! My dear little sister
I wanted to buy a doll
and dress for you,
and do much for you.
Do not cry,
forget me
as the cruel destiny
took me away.
my luck to stay with you
was not with me.
it was not my fault.
I was in right track
slow and steady with safety
but it came like a devil
and sent me here
I see you all
but you cannot see me.
no fault of mine
I love you all
I cannot express or show.
You all did so much for me.
Unlucky I am
I took
never returned
no fault of mine.
