Tales Through Tears
(Part 1)
Bhai
P K Routray
“Bhai! Please take care of “Kuhu,
nothing now for her I can do.”
with a touching tone
stunned me, my dear Trilochan
as if he was certain
of the day of his no return.
In spite of his dying pain
the wellbeing of Kuhu occupied his brain.
Heavenly love from a man Devine
only is felt as it, words cannot define.
He languished in agony beyond description
to mitigate others’ pain as love on reciprocation.
Turning stone hearted and equanimous uncommon
by sharing the torturing pain of her lifelong companion
Kuhu dried up her tears to gladden her hubby Triloshan
to show “ She is strong enough to survive the separation.
Both souls played their roles in harmony as the human couple
with an exemplary bondage that no mishap could buckle.
One’s role is complete. His soul has merged with the Lord,
other is left alone to complete the task on His accord.
(N.B Trilochan is my brother-in-law died of cancer and kuhu his spouse is my sister0
