Tales Through Tears
(Part 4)
P K Routray
She took care of our father and younger brothers making up her elders’ failure
pleased are her in-laws’ family kith and kin, all her relations and neighbor.
The crowd Trilochan pulled for good wishes and to take his care
wonderstruck the hospital staff and they told the breed is rare.
The reverence of our family to Trilochan are hidden in us only tears can tell
vividly saw the sobbing Gajrajpur because of tears my both brothers’ tones fell
When I fell sick and admitted in a hospital she forgot her family and her safety
nurtured me back to life not as the younger sister but as a messenger of our family deity.
In all my failures she is there with well-wishes of Trilochan behind.
Life after life I shall remain grateful to them, to express only tears I find.
N. B= My sister Kuhu and her spouse Ttrilochan’s contribution bound innumerable people both in relations and outside relations in ties of love and respect.
