Three circular curves

 

 

Stretch I often

to bury the burden

that age has thrust upon

on my brain and brawn,

gazing at memory lane

over its many a terrain,

the voyages numerous

some were exciting and joyous

bumpy and bumpy were some

but experiences are awesome.

Once mountains of pain

now turns,, me, to entertain.

some seem even fesivous

blaming me for the fuss

knowing for a certain

never they will return.

On oft peeping topic

to wisdom, the need basic

is my early education

as to how had it begun.

Many lures to motivate

many lullabies to captivate

handed me a chalk, a slate

as toys to be my playmate.

Survived they none

at my games of fun

within an hour or so

as a repeated show.

Then replaced it, a slate

of unbreakable tin plate

monotonous to irate

but stayed as my play mate.

My artistries in full flow

with modern art show

displaying lines and dots

at whimsical thoughts

adorned it with no blank space

Enjoyed I the erasing process.

Graduated gradually

hands held tightly

to circle around

with babbling sound

three rounds drawn earlier

as Brahma Bishnu Maheswar.

 

Muse I often

on such initiation

Why not adopted they

the cartoon-play

as in vogue now – a-days

where absorbed, a child stays.

As I was never uncertain

of our glorious tradition

by influence of the society

who worship many a deity

with faith and devotion deep.

Atheism in me did never creep.

Enriched it human wisdom

on every subject and system.

The Bhagvatam, epic the great

unequivocally delineate

and acknowledge

the knowledge

and the dispassion

offspring of devotion

From transcendental form

the loves transform

to devotion

as its real identification.

Hence love to rise in heart

thus we start

as an infant’s evolution

to learning with devotion.

Love to Learming will grow

Sure her offspring to follow.

with knowledge and dispassion

wisdom will be bound to deepen.

Thus from three circular curves we start

with devotion to the Creator at heart.
