To my Valentine

I was born without God knowing, so I have no soul
Raised in this strange world that gives me no goal
I write to you my Valentine, who knows me not
That I too, know you never from this spot
That I cry from on high clear skies
Because I never will cross one's eyes
I was born invisible, that no one sees me
But only when I wear a mask that isn't free
A smile that imitates a soul crosses my face
A smile that lacks authenticity and grace
But it is my ticket in this long dreaded life
That the world turns so slow it runs rife
But to you it seems so uneventful
That you never realize you left some resentful
Of your life, and how you shine so bright
That you think you are in some blight
That you lack a light brighter than yours
That I lack a light at all that soars
For you, I wish to set the world a light
To destroy a world just for your delight
To show you how wonderful you are
That you are the Sun, the brightest star
