Buried Pride

It's been like I've endured
Many hours in a trapping pit,
Not able too get out of this
Dark, isolated hole, that
Tries to take my sole.
Like many animals trapped,
I felt alone and confused
Unable too find my way back
Home.A place I could feel
Safe and happy again.
Just when I felt the stench
Of suffocatcation in this
Environment, which seemed
An impossible height too
Conquer.
You passed my way,and held
Your hand out, which lifted
Me up from the desolation
Path, I had found myself in.
Now we're back in your warm,
Forgiving home, I do not feel
Like a trapped animal any
More, and are able too delve inside
My contrite heart,because I have
Missed our laughs, our cries
But most of all,My family.
