Food World

I have a wee suggestion
For the future of the Earth
To increase my digestion
And reduce McDonalds worth
I think what would be really great
And what would make me smile
Is if the world was one huge plate
On which our food was piled.
Instead of normal mountains
We could have big hills of cake
And we could have Coke fountains
Flowing into Pepsi lakes
Cities made of cucumber
And cars with chocolate gears
The beds on which we slumber
Made from barbecued Roe Deer
The trees would be of broccoli
The desert filled with salt
Corn clouds would drop on top of me
Their rain of single-malt,
Ice cream dogs would run around
And chase the minty cats
Accompanied by the sizzling sound
Of bacon butty rats,
Men would talk on mobile-steaks
And fax each other rice
They'd write their names with tuna flakes
And wash with best mixed-spice,
We'd fly around in lamb-chop planes
And sail in mint sauce ships
Paintings would be custard stains
With frames all made of chips
We'd bathe in floater-coffee
And we'd have Dorito shoes
With laces of spaghetti
And the heels of dumpling stew,
Clothing made of melted cheese
And buttons made of spam
Earrings made of baby peas
And trainers made of ham,
I think that my suggestion
It would benefit Mankind
There's certainly no question
It would help us all unwind
So change your soap for pumpkin pie
And we can change the world
Join me in my cheerful cry
And keep our flag unfurled
Let's change this concrete world of ours
For one that we can eat
Where gravy trees have roast beef flowers
And chairs are made of wheat.
