Poetry Reading-1

Every wednesday night,
at the local
non-Starbucks
coffee bar,
an assembly of
different, and unique
characters,
would troop all in a pack,
to read,
or listen to poetry.
There's not many regulars,
because it's
a small coffee bar,
and some
feel its better
to recite their poetry,
or listen to it,
in a larger environment,
but the ones that
do stay,
are known for
certain things.
Like the Introducer,
and her Russian accent,
and bright, false
wigs.
Or the loveable "boo boy",
with his all black
ensembles,
and jaded outlook
on life.
Or the giant array of newbies,
they never look the same
or act the same,
but some are memorable,
and some are strange,
and some
never come back.
But the Wednesday night
Poetry Reading
still goes on,
from 7-9,
and people still come.
