In the beginning God made everything perfect. Every thing that God made was good.
That was 6 thousand years ago and now all we seem to experience in the world is woe.
The world is in chaos. These are the beginnings of birth pangs.
A precursor to the final chapter, as disaster after disaster comes flooding in faster than the tsunami wave on the 26th of December. Our deceased brothers and sisters we will remember still, lest we forget in complacent mood their lives were cut short within minutes of the first sightings of the mountain size waves.
2005 the year of the most natural disasters on record in our mother earths history.
Earthquakes rocket off the scale killing more than 73,000 in an already troubled Kashmir, and 3.5 million are left to tremble in fear, left homeless and destitute for the coming year.
In the Gulf of Mexico the winds did blow and New Orleans now knows that the government’s policy on disaster measures is but, “cheap talk.” As hurricane Katrina mounted her assault on terrified Americans who we always thought, had more than anyone could ever want. The true picture of the poverty stricken south emerged and we are left with no doubt that America is really only about the Haves and not the ones with nowt.

While the world looks on and see the president of the United States continue on with his diplomacy of, “SHOCK,” tactics, we AWE with unbelief at our own government backing his armed assaults on poor innocent Iraqis, all in the name of democracy and worse still Christianity. As those innocent civilians hid out in cellars and bombed out shells. Is freedom really supposed to be a living hell?
Still, they got the man that they wanted… Saddam Hussein. As the name suggests, SAD MAN and I challenge his defence to prove that he’s sane!! Now on trial, finally in the newly formed democratic blood bath land.
Suicide bombers seem to be everywhere nowadays. Not only in Iraq but also on holiday resorts such as that of Amman. But even more alarming they have struck even on our own fair shores.
The blast on the bus outside Edgware road tube station was part of a concerted effort to bring about mayhem by brain washed young men who could just as well have lived next door to you or I.
More innocents killed. More blood was spilled. More unrest and bad will…. In this terrible time we live in, where terrorist feel so detached from reality that there interpretation of what they read in their holy books leads them into total insanity. As catastrophe upon catastrophe comes upon the citizens of our nations. The people living in these places where these atrocities take place come together and pray and carry on and reflect the courage and the resilience of New Yorkers at Ground Zero.
They call it a Holy war. I’m really not sure
Still the carnage continues without any sign of abating and as long as time is, another former world leader in the shape of Rafiq Hariri is laid to rest in twisted metal, concrete rubble and broken glass.
So now who knows the good guys from the bad? Every one seems to have a cause and it’s hard to determine whether they are freedom fighters, insurgents, terrorists or just plain old gung ho government troops.
We see clearly that the dividing line is becoming more and more blurred as troops in central Asia in the state of Uzbekistan open indiscriminate fire upon protesters.
And closer to home, France experiences shades of its historically infamous, “Revolution,” in the form of rioting in the poorer suburbs of its city of culture.
From such analysis of the information is it not fair to say, there are no good guys in this war when it comes to violence as a means to furthering the dictates of man’s personal agendas, driven by his selfish heart.
These are the beginnings of birth pangs.
The beautiful earth we live in convulses violently as climate change forces the UN’s Kyoto Treaty to be caused into effect 8 years after it was signed.
Well I suppose better late than never. Still, I wonder if our children will have the same trite, cliché view as this in years to come.
And yet some do not see that these are the beginnings of birth pangs.
As if there is not enough destruction in the world to contend with, the silent enemy, AIDS is wreaking its own havoc on an estimated 40 million world wide and countless orphaned children besides.
With the BSE crises now supposedly behind us a new enemy lurks in our far off neighbours’ back yards.
People have actually died and children have been kept inside as the bird flu fever starts to rise. Now it’s not sure whether or not it will be on our front door steps yet, still, there is said to be possible cause for eating less Kentucky or poultry from other shores.
But no one is really sure. So maybe its is wise to partake of a little less chicken and stake so that when its really over we are able to stake a claim to good health on the grounds that all we ate was veggie mince, nut roast and tuna bake. And for Christmas dinner no less. My my, did you ever think that you would be kind to a turkey and not ring its neck and pluck its feathers. Well if it stops you getting the dreaded flu then maybe its best thing for us to do.

Angry Christian and Sikh Congregationalist seek to put an end to the, “Faith hate,” campaigns of productions such as Besht and Jerry Springer the Opera by petitioning outside theatres where religion is considered no more sacred than Eastenders or Emmerdale farm. The calm before the storm……
The Anglican Church is haemorrhaging as half its church takes an all inclusive approach to gay clergy members. The Government endorses this view in its own secular arena by legalising same sex marriage.

Black luminary Michael Jackson is cleared of child sex abuse and tries to rekindle his flagging career as, “The King of Pop.” Maybe he should run for office!!...Is it me your looking for?"
And finally, our own soon to be king, Charles, marries his long time sweet heart Camilla Parker Bowls, Just the same as in Noah’s day. “Men and women will marry and be given in to marriage. However, Diana will be turning in her grave!
And they’ll live happily ever after if Green Peace has its way.
Well even if you don’t believe in the Bible and what it says about end time events, it’s clear to see that what is actually happening around the world is in effect the beginnings of birth pangs from anyone’s point of view.
