Selfy

Pictures have memories, we view subjectively
Like poems telling half-truths ...we thumb between lines
they say cameras don't lie, but people often do…tell stories of loved ones
without the ugly pictures which would destroy the truth.
A thumbnail captures my imagination
My universe explodes into a galaxy of ideas.
A star amongst a galaxy of prose
Thoughts glide easly like transparent celiloids
Imitating jelly fish in deep water
Like this one, she will, I'm sure
As no other creature has such splendour
I count the exposure,
My face glistens and ripens in the sun.
I press the button to send.
The time for second chances
Vanishes, evaporates into cyber air
I imagine her face at the time she sees mine
All mysterious and mater of factly all at the same time
This one could be history in the making
Another purpose marking the passing of time.
as i go back to my thumbnails and delete my ex for the last time.
