Bitter memory

How can I describe what you meant to me?
My tears speak volumes
But I want the words so you can see.
Picture a world without the sun
A lifeless skeleton bathed in black
A starless sky
An infant with no will to cry.
Oh how powerful love can be
That warm closeness of you next to me
And the terrible emptiness when you're gone.
Your last kiss burns like sulphur on my skin
That touch sends shivers deep within
My heart feels sharp and cold
My limbs feel weak
I can't eat, I can't sleep.
How can I love you and hate you at the same time?
I hate you now but loved you when you were mine.
I long to forget
I even wish we'd never met
I feel discarded, tossed aside
You said you cared but I know you lied
And I tried, I tried
To be everything you wanted me to be
I loved you so deeply can't you see?
Now there's no hand to hold
No warm embrace to shelter from the cold.
And will I ever live again?
Will there be other men?
Will I see the dawn of day?
The morning flowers bright and gay?
And perhaps one day when I feel strong
I'll turn this rhyme into a song
And carve your name into a tree
Our love, a bitter memory.

yeh, a song, which show how things go wrong, those were my thoughts, but I'm mostly overwrought.

No. I did. I was actually
No. I did. I was actually thinking this should be a song. (Most poetry is lyrical).
