Take me into your arms
Never let me go
Breathe me in
And never breathe out

I took you into mine
I was never willing to let you go
I breathe you in
And held you in me

But I was your poison
And I polluted your system
I messed up your heart
That was when you left

You shoved me out
Like I was some infectious disease
You pushed me aside
And laughed as I ran out of air

I took you in because I needed you
You were my anecdote
I was my own venom
And you just watched me bleed to death
