Dreams into … Rising from the … (IP)

A sports-car that crashes,
a party that trashes,
advice that just lashes:
turn dreams into ashes.
A comrade who bashes,
a sly foe who hatches
plots, mockingly dashes
hope, cold water splashes:
turn dreams into ashes.
A friend who’s reliable,
a project that’s valuable,
hard work that’s sustainable:
good dreams become viable.
From flame and from ash,
a phoenix can rise:
not fame, or just cash,
but something to prize.

HI Rhiannon
HI Rhiannon
It is always a surprise, and a sort of treat, to find an old piece of work that nobody else has commented on.
I like your rhyme structure in this poem. You tell all the bad possibilities, and then the possitives, and end up summarising the potential of life.
